CTM or #Cleansing, #Toning, #Moisturizing has been considered as a fundamental part of #skincare routine for a long time. But in reality, this practice is not so effective for maintaining #healthyskin and might need some modifications in the process. One can adopt CCMS instead of CTM to get rid of skin problems and keep it clear and glowing. #CCMS refers to #Cleanser, #Corrector, #Moisturizer, and #Sunscreen.
Cleansing helps to extract the impurities, dirt, dust, or even #makeup. Corrector targets specific skin problems such as #acne, #pigmentation, etc. Moisturizers help to add moisture or boost hydration in the skin and make it plump and soft. Sunscreen is essential as it protects the skin from #sundamage and pigmentation issues. Toning should be eliminated as it is not very beneficial for the #skin. If you ask why, the answer is that toners are mostly alcohol-based which can snatch away the essential oils from the skin. Thus, disrupt the skin pH balance and lead to skin issues. One can rather use rose water or a face mist.
