ThermiSmooth™ is a procedure performed by our licensed aestheticians at the Aesthetic Surgery Center, utilizing the ThermiRF™ Radiofrequency skin tightening technology. During a series of 4 weekly sessions, a temperature regulated probe is applied externally to the skin in order to heat the skin to the desired level (42-44°C). Heating of the skin to this temperature induces skin tightening by collagen contraction and remodeling, as well as long term stimulation of collagen production. Results are seen 2 to 12 months after the series of 4 treatments. The most commonly treated areas are the upper and lower eyelids to tighten the skin and improve fine lines, the mouth area to improve lip lines, and crepy skin along the neck.
