Halloween. A time for candy, costumes, and cosmetics? That’s right. One October 31st, after a long day of facial appointments, no candy could be found in the house when a group of twenty-something, pajama-wearing hipsters came knocking. Like a good esthetician, plenty of skin care products were on hand. So, brand new cleanser samples were dispensed to the apathetic trick-or-treaters in place of sugary treats. Explaining the importance of professional cleansers during a makeup-heavy holiday didn’t change their irritation when no candy was given. Here is a rare case of when esthetics and Halloween doesn’t mix. But hey, if nothing else, at least we answer what the most important skin care product is for this spooky holiday
